ArcoAir™ PCA

AN AIR ACTIVATED BOLUS BUTTON PROVIDING DISABLED PATIENTS THE ABILITY TO CONTROL THEIR ANALGESIA

As leaders in Infusion Technology, we, at arcomed, are constantly innovating and seeking solutions to address market needs. This is why we have designed ArcoAir™ PCA Switch, an alternative device to the conventional bolus button.

To improve the quality of life of patients, we believe that the first place where barriers should be removed is the hospital. The ArcoAir™ PCA Switch is a CE marked air activated bolus button

for the provision of analgesia to those patients fully conscious and orientated, but unable to use their hands or upper limbs to activate the conventional bolus button. It is suitable for patients affected by multiple trauma, severe burns, rheumatoid arthritis or paraplegia. It is used in connection with our infusion pump that will provide you with the latest technology.

Features PCA

1. A patient button with a special connection to the ArcoAir disposable set.

2. ArcoAir set with a luer lock connection that connects the patient bolus at one end to the mouthpiece at the other end.

3. An articulated arm for the IV pole that holds the mouthpiece close to the patient’s mouth.
